Imposter syndrome is a hell of a beast, isn't it?
When I first started out as an artist, I never would have assumed that I'd have the courage to participate in an art showing, or that I would ever make work worthy of being showcased amongst "professional" artists. Today, I said "You know what, no, I'm doing this!", took that big first step, and submitted these two pieces to the RemainReal "Small & Powerful" art show opening on May 5th.
I'll make a new blog post when I know how the opening night goes (I will be out of town that day, unfortunately), but until then, enjoy some work in progress images. I wish I'd thought to take more, but that's all part of the learning process.
